Identify Native Plants - 8 AM
Join a State Park Interpreter as you venture into the backcountry of Dos Rios and learn to identify native plants that make up this beautiful re-wilded floodplain. Over nine plant identifications can be made. Visitors will also learn the story behind the re-wilding of this 1600-acre floodplain forest. Meet at the Welcome Center at 8:00 am.
Meet at the Welcome Center. The walk is mostly flat, easy, and on dirt. Plan to bring water, sunblock, hiking shoes, snacks, sunscreen, binoculars and camera (optional).
